DAY 1: Arrival Johannesburg
Personal pick up from Kruger International Airport (MQP), following evening flight from the UK and internal flight from Johannesburg International Airport (JNB).
Transfer to Umkumbe bush lodge, one of the best game viewing opportunities in Sabi Sands. Set on the lush banks of the Sand River, offers the ultimate safari experience combining diverse wildlife with authentic African hospitality.
Arrive in time for the afternoon game drive with sundowners.
DAY 2: Umkumbe Bush Lodge (B,L,D)
Your tents are named after different indigenous trees found in the region, the stylish accommodation and spacious tented suites at Umkumbe are all positioned on private decks nestled in nature.
Activities include two game drives are offered per day. On the morning drive there is a stop for coffee and on the afternoon drive you will stop for sundowners. After sundowners guests will get to experience a night drive. The night drives allow guests the opportunity to see the nocturnal animals not encountered during the day.
DAY 3: Umkumbe Bush Lodge (B,L,D)
Morning and Afternoon game drive’
A sundowner at Umkumbe is simply a ‘happy hour’ during sunset over the African Savanna. It’s a classic safari tradition dating back to the colonial days. As you finish your afternoon game drive, your guide will take you to a beautiful and remote location in the bush. You may find yourself on a hilltop overlooking the savanna or next to a waterhole watching the wildlife come for their last drink of the day.
DAY 4: Umkumbe Bush Lodge (B, L, D)
Game drive times may vary according to seasons, game activity and spontaneous safaris may also go out in response to animal activity near the lodge. All game drives take place in 4×4 Land Cruisers which are open, roofless and all-terrain, ideally designed to maximise the game-viewing experience.

11.00 – departing guests to kindly vacate chalets.
Transfer to Kruger International Airport (MQP) for your flight to Johannesburg International Airport (JNB) and onward to your destination.
